Chapter 356 Acting
After resolving these problems, Faye personally wrote a letter of apology for the company failing to restrain the artists' behaviors.
She did not send it out immediately after it was completed. Instead, she had waited for a few hours until the matter had been fermented. When the public knew the truth and understood that the artists had done so without the company's permission, she posted the letter of apology online.
Faye came out of the company at eight pm. As soon as she got in the car, she received a call from Rebecca.
Faye leaned back in the seat while rubbing her eyebrows and answered the call, saying, "Rebecca, what's up?"
Rebecca panted unsteadily on the phone and asked, "Where are you now?"
Faye asked, "Are you running?"
Rebecca let out a long sigh after standing still and replied, "No, I'm moving things!"
Faye asked in confusion, "What are you moving?"
Rebecca answered, "The gifts Abbot's parents gave me!"
Faye paused for a second and asked, "Are you going to sell them?"
Hearing this, Rebecca was speechless for a moment and then said, "Am I that kind of person in your eyes?"
Faye said truthfully, "Yes, you are."
Rebecca was at a loss for words, feeling heartbroken.
The sudden silence on the phone made Faye burst into laughter.
Hearing her laugh, Rebecca gritted her teeth and said, "I want to break up with you!"
Faye smiled, "You can't bear to break up with me."
Rebecca retorted, "Do you think I were Colin?"
Faye immediately changed the topic and asked, "Are you going to the Carters to return those gifts?"
Rebecca snorted, closed the trunk lid with a bang, and said, "Or else?"
Then, she got into the car, connected her phone to the Bluetooth hands-free car kit, and turned the steering wheel.
Faye smiled, "Go ahead. Don't worry, Abbot's parents will not accept them."
Rebecca said while driving, "I'm giving them back sincerely!"
Faye started the car and responded with a smile, "OK, I believe you."
They then chatted while driving. After a while, Rebecca said solemnly, "Actually, it's not bad now. Otherwise, I would continue to be worried all day long. Since I saw Abbot beat people last time, I have often had nightmares."
Faye laughed, "I did not expect you to be afraid of anymore."
Rebecca replied, "Alas, people must know their limitations."
Hearing his, Faye smiled and suddenly thought of what Colin had said. After thinking about it for a while, she decided to remind Rebecca, so she asked, "Have you ever gotten dead drunk during the business trip with Abbot?"
