My Fair Stunner novel Chapter 384

Chapter 384 Particularly Happy, Right

Hearing what Abbot said, Colin chuckled and cursed before hanging up the video call.

Ending the call, Abbot stretched his legs and uttered, " Braxton."

His assistant looked up at Abbot in the rearview mirror and replied, "Mr. Carter, what can I do for you?"

Abbot asked, "Do you think Rebecca likes me?"

The assistant felt uneasy and answered with concern, "Well, probably yes."

Abbot clicked his tongue and said, "It seems that it's not me being narcissistic. Even you can notice it."

The assistant thought inwardly, "Ms. Black, I'm sorry!"

On the other side, after Colin hung up the video call, he took the lighter on the nightstand and was about to light a cigarette.

As soon as he lit the lighter, a pair of fair hands appeared in front of him.

Colin raised his eyes and uttered, "Hmm?"

Faye said, "Smoke less, it's bad for your health."

Colin curved up the corner of his mouth and put the lighter into Faye's palm obediently.

Faye took the lighter and bent down to put it on the nightstand, asking, "Rebecca is with Abbot?"

Colin took the cigarette off the corner of his mouth and crashed it. "No, Abbot sent Rebecca to the hotel and went home. When I gave him a video call, he was already on his way home," said Colin.

Faye nodded, lifted the corner of the quilt, and sat in. Leaning against the headboard for a while, she uttered lightly, "I'm going to give Fanny's grandmother a funeral next Wednesday."

Faye sounded poised. There was nothing unusual in her expression.

Colin looked sideways at her for a few seconds. He then wrapped his arm around her waist and pulled her closer to him. He made her sit on his laps and kissed her on the nape of her neck, saying, "I'll accompany you then."

Faye compressed her lips and said, "Good."

Colin uttered, "If you feel distressed, just say it out. Don't think too much about it yourself."

Faye uttered, "Mm-hmm."

The next day.

Early in the morning, Faye got up to freshen up. As she was brushing her teeth, there was an incoming call from Rebecca.

Faye tapped on the phone screen to pick it up. She said vaguely, "What's the matter?"

Rebecca snapped, "Is Abbot out of his mind? He sent me to a hotel in the suburbs!"

Faye froze in her tracks.

Colin had only told her that Abbot sent Rebecca to the hotel, but she didn't know that Abbot actually sent Rebecca to the suburbs.
