Chapter 391 Psycho
Daisy?
Colin was startled by Old Mr. Farrell's words.
Old Mr. Farrell scoffed, "You're surprised, right?"
Colin frowned in silence.
According to what Old Mr. Farrell had said, Tiffany had been worried her secrets would be revealed, so she had indeed intended to kill Shepard back then.
Therefore, she contacted the person in the garage and let him tamper with Shepard's car.
But it was Daisy that had directly caused the car accident in the end.
When Shepard had worked with Old Mr. Farrell, he had offended many people, so quite a few people had wanted to kill him at that time.
Therefore, he cultivated the habit of checking his car every day over time.
When he had not had time to check it himself, Daisy had done it for him.
And it was her that had checked the car before the accident.
Old Mr. Farrell said, "I had no dealings with Daisy in the past, but I can guess why she did it."
She had not believed Shepard would return to the family sincerely, so she had wanted to die together with him.
But why had she brought Faye with her? She had been so young and ignorant back then.
Was it because Daisy had been worried that no one would take care of her after they died?
Or maybe Faye's existence had been a mistake in her eyes, so she had wanted to correct it by herself?
The more Colin thought, the more terrified he felt.
Not long after Colin went upstairs, Tiffany received a call on the first floor, so she went back to her bedroom.
Therefore, only Faye and Maxwell were left in the living room.
Faye kept swiping her phone with her head down, while Maxwell stared at her with interest and rubbed his chin with his fingers.
"Faye," he suddenly said with a playful look.
Faye raised her head, looked at him, and said in a cold voice, "What's wrong?"
Maxwell sat up on the sofa, leaned forward, and asked, "I'm curious about one thing. Why do you like Colin?"
Faye said, "Curiosity kills the cat."
