My Fair Stunner novel Chapter 400

Chapter 400 The Surging of Undercurrent

In the room, undercurrents surged under the calm conversation.

Outside the room, Colin put his hands in his pockets and smirked.

Abbot was standing next to him, made a noise by 'tsk', and asked, "Do your vanity greatly satisfied?"

Colin looked at him and smiled lightly, "Very much."

Abbot replied, "You're dramatic."

Colin responded, "Better than being stupid."

Hearing that, Abbot twitched his mouth twice and was about to refute. Suddenly, there was a noise of chairs colliding in the room.

Both of them were stunned. Colin cursed with a swear word, frowned, and pushed the door open.

In the room, Maxwell stood in front of Faye with a faint smile and his hands raised above his head.

Faye was sitting on a chair, holding a half-broken wine bottle in her hand, which was directly pointing at his lower abdomen which was approaching her.

Maxwell said, "I am just kidding. Calm down."

Faye said coldly, "I don't like to joke with someone I am not familiar with."

Maxwell replied, "Well, nobody will know nobody since the beginning. They can only get to know each other after some time."

There was tension between Faye and Maxwell, and neither of them noticed that the door had been pushed open from the outside.

After Maxwell finished his words, and before Faye could respond, Colin's gloomy voice came from the back "I'm afraid you won't live that long."

Maxwell raised his eyebrows after hearing that. When he was about to turn his head, he was kicked on the back of his waist.

Maxwell turned around instantly when Abbot just retracted his leg. He looked at Maxwell with a false smile and asked, "Does it hurt?"

Maxwell stared at him.

Abbot smiled cynically, "It's good that you feel the pain. It proves that you are still alive."

Maxwell was filled with hostility while Abbot provoked him.

Abbot sneered and raised his chin at Colin, "Colin, take Faye to the next room."

Colin glanced at Abbot and said, "Don't be too hush."

Abbot smiled disapprovingly and said, "Don't worry. We are in a society that rules by law and we are civilized people."

After Abbot finished speaking, he looked at Faye, winked, and said, "Don't worry. Let me take care of this kind of rubbish."
