Chapter 487 Craftiness
Colin was dealing with some wily old foxes of the Farrell Group when he received the call from Ethan.
He tapped his slender fingers on the desk and said, "Thanks."
Ethan asked, "Are you talking to others now?"
Colin said, "Yes."
Ethan smiled, "Bye."
Then, he hung up the phone before Colin could answer.
That was what loyal friends were like. They called each other when they were in trouble. But when they were in the middle of some urgent matter, they would not need to say a lot to explain before hanging up.
Hearing the busy tone, Colin showed a smile on his thin lips and threw the phone on the desk.
The wily old foxes were talking excitedly, so no one paid attention to his expression.
"Mr. Farrell, we have collected all the evidence. Look! Can you call the police?"
"Tiffany not only evaded taxes but also murdered people. As long as the evidence is given to the police, she will be ruined."
An hour ago, Robert had notified them that they must speed up bringing Tiffany down. But unexpectedly, they had come to Colin's office together soon. They had agreed that they would call the police and send Tiffany to prison but suddenly went back on their words when it came to the final stage.
The wily old foxes kept talking. Seeing Colin keep silent, one of them ventured, "Mr. Farrell, what do you think?"
Colin smiled, "I'm sorry, but I can't do you this favor."
Hearing this, the wily old foxes all fell silent.
The atmosphere in the office suddenly became gloomy. Colin leaned back in the chair, folded his hands on the desk, and said, "If you think you are unable to complete the task, we will give up this plan. It's not a big deal."
The wily old foxes felt speechless.
Colin added, "Don't worry, I won't tell anyone else about it. I will pretend that I have never heard of this matter."
Hearing this, the executives all held their breath, and no one dared to speak. Several of them had dealt with Colin before and knew his temperament. He seemed generous to people but was calculating all the time. He wouldn't have gotten where he was now in the Farrells if he hadn't consolidated at every step.
Colin had said he would pretend that he had never heard of this matter, but none of them dared to think deeply about what he was implying. Because it was simply terrifying.
After the atmosphere in the office froze for eight seconds, Colin raised his hand to tug at his collar impatiently. Seeing this, one of the executives gritted his teeth and said, "Mr. Farrell, since you said so, I will tell you the truth."
Then, he paused, glanced around, and continued, "We can bring Tiffany down, and Hank is not a concern either. But Brandon has made it clear that he is on Tiffany's side. In case..."
