Chapter 495 Bottom Line
Faye knew whom Jake was referring to.
Jake had endured hardships for many years for the sake of that person.
Faye remained silent for a while when she heard Jake's words. She moved her lips and asked, "When's your appointment with Tiffany."
Jake replied, "Three o'clock in the afternoon."
Faye glanced at her wristwatch when she heard his words and said, "Okay. I will arrive at two o'clock."
Jake replied, "Okay. Call me when you arrive."
After ending the call with Jake, Faye put her phone into her pocket and gazed at Colin.
Colin curled his thin lips into a smile and asked, "Why did Jake call you?"
Faye replied honestly, "Tiffany will go to his clinic for psychological treatment this afternoon and Jake wants to induce her to tell the truth."
Colin knew something about what had happened to Jake.
Though Colin didn't know that kind of relationship, he could respect and understand it.
Bluntly, it didn't have any difference from his love for Faye.
When Faye finished the words, Colin reached out to grasp her hand and said, "I can't accompany you there as I'm hospitalized. Be careful."
Faye said, "I will arrange for a nursing worker to take care of you."
Colin replied, "Don't bother. I will call Abbot later and ask him to come here."
Faye said with a smile, "But I remember you despised Abbot for being too troublesome yesterday."
Colin smiled and replied, "That was one situation, and this is another one."
After arranging for Colin, Faye walked out of the hospital and drove to Jake's psychological clinic.
When she arrived, she wasn't in a hurry to get out of the car or enter the clinic. Instead, she took out her phone and called Jake.
Jake answered the call soon and asked, "Are you here?"
Faye replied, "Yep."
Jake said, "Wait for me. I'll go out to take you in."
Several minutes later, Jake who was in a white gown showed up before Faye's car.
Faye unlocked the doors of the car. Then Jake pulled open a door to the backseats, stooped, and got into the car.
Faye turned around to look at him and asked, "Is everything ready?"
Jake took out a pack of cigarettes from his pocket, bowed his head, took out a cigarette with his teeth, and then lit the cigarette. He took a long drag on it and replied, "Yep. I've arranged everything. I gave my employees a holiday today and only some trusted employees who have followed me for years are left in the clinic."
Faye nodded and said, "That's great."
