Chapter 539 We Are the Same
After Ethan finished his words, Abbot gave him a disdainful look.
Ethan raised his eyebrows and asked, "What? Am I wrong?"
Abbot put on a fake smile and said, "You'd better take care of yourself first."
After saying that, he picked up the cup of beer on the table and drank it up.
Colin sneered, "Are you really not going to chase her?"
Abbot gritted his teeth and cursed. Then he picked up his coat behind the chair and went out.
Seeing Abbot leave, Ethan teased, "Abbot really has lost to Rebecca."
Colin held Faye's hand and teased, "He's right. You'd better take care of yourself first."
Ethan picked up the cigarette case thrown by Abbot on the table, took out a cigarette, and lit it. "She has a new boyfriend."
On the other side, when Abbot ran out, Rebecca was repairing her car in the parking lot.
She bent over and stood in front of the hood, frowning and muttering.
"It shouldn't be. I just maintained it two days ago. How could it break down now?"
"The engine seems to be okay!"
While Rebecca was muttering, a tall figure suddenly appeared in front of her.
She looked back subconsciously. When she saw it was Abbot, she was stiff. "Mr. Car,,,"
Instinctively, Rebecca wanted to call him Mr. Carter, but when she thought they were "friends" now, she called out Abbot's first name. "Abbot, why are you out?"
Abbot took a look at the open hood and asked, "What's wrong with your car?"
Rebecca answered honestly, "It broke down."
"What's the problem?" Abbot asked.
Rebecca replied, "I don't know."
Abbot handed his suit to Rebecca and said, "Take it. Let me check it for you."
Rebecca was taken aback, holding his coat in her arms.
As Abbot spoke, he nudged Rebecca away, unbuttoned his shirt cuffs, rolled them up to his elbows, and bent over to check the engine.
Abbot checked the car carefully.
Rebecca stared at him and asked, "How's it going? Do you know what's wrong?"
Abbot said, "I need some time. I'm not a robot!"
After Abbot finished his words, Rebecca made a gesture of contempt behind him.
After that, she looked around idly.
Gradually, her eyes fell on Abbot's back.
Abbot's figure was indeed very sexy. Rebecca felt that those internet celebrities were not as sexy as him.
She looked at Abbot up and down as long as he fixed the car.
