Chapter 543 The Misunderstanding Got Worse
Violet felt that Ethan was now acting somewhat intimately, but she was not sure if it was an illusion.
Ethan hadn't taken a picture. Violet pursed her lips, "Ethan."
Ethan dropped his eyes on her slightly swollen ankle and his face darkened, "Yes."
Violet asked, "Aren't you ... going to take pictures?"
Ethan clenched the hand that was holding the phone, "Yes."
Ethan finished and Violet pursed her lips into a straight line.
Ethan's fingers were long and bony. They were rough from regular training. When his fingers touched Ethan, she shivered uncontrollably.
When Violet suspected that Ethan was doing it on purpose and had ulterior motives, Ethan stood up after taking the picture.
Violet's cheeks flushed and tilted her head, "Finished?"
Ethan replied in a low voice, "It's done."
Violet asked, "Is this case easy to handle?"
Ethan tucked his phone into his pocket, "It's not difficult."
Violet said softly, "Sorry to bother you."
Ethan looked down and met Violet's eyes, "It's fine."
Ethan always spoke concise words. Violet smiled embarrassedly and struck up a conversation, "How is grandpa doing these days?"
Ethan answered, "Quite well."
After that, Ethan paused and added, "He keeps mentioning you these days."
Violet did not doubt at all what Ethan said, as he was a cold man who could not possibly speak of pleasantries. She smiled, "I'll go to see grandpa when I get out of the hospital."
Ethan replied in a light voice, "Good."
After that, the door of the ward was pushed open from the outside and Saylor strode in with a convenience bag in his hand.
Seeing Saylor, Ethan's eyes fell on his face for about ten seconds. Ethan remained calm and it was not clear what he was thinking.
In comparison to Ethan, Saylor had a high color on his face. He took a few steps toward Ethan and opened the convenience bag generously to let Ethan pick out what he liked to drink.
"Mr. Bond, help yourself."
Ethan casually took one and said in a sufficiently cold voice, "Thank you."
Saylor looked at the drink in Ethan's hand and teased, "The drink you choose is also Violet's favorite."
Actually, Ethan didn't care about what drink he was holding. Hearing Saylor's words, he just couldn't help but look down to check what the drink was.
