Chapter 546 Mixed Feelings
The atmosphere inside the car was very heavy.
As Colin finished his words, Robert met Colin's eyes in the rear view mirror. Robert was about to say "No", but he dared not say it.
Colin asked, "No?"
Robert answered, steeling himself, "I'll see what I can do."
After hearing this, Colin pinched between the eyebrows with his fingertips. "Do it as soon as possible, and don't let Mrs. Farrell find anything unusual."
Robert said, "Got it."
Although Robert said "Got it", he had mixed feelings in his heart. He thought, "I am asked to do something the boss can't do himself. It is so tragic for me."
Robert suddenly felt that being sent to units in other areas was not a terrible thing.
But he only dared to think these words in his mind rather than actually say them.
Robert drove at a constant speed. He felt sorry for himself for a while and then asked, "Mr. Farrell, where are we going now?"
"Go home."
"Okay."
Robert held the steering wheel and turned the car around.
But as soon as he turned the car around, Colin said, "Don't go home. Go to the company."
Robert, who had turned the car around, was speechless.
If Robert remembered correctly, it was a one-way street.
Faye took Carlotta to choose a store in a good location and they were about to sign the contract.
Carlotta looked at the contract handed over by the house agent, but she didn't dare to take it. She whispered to Faye, "I don't know much about contracts."
Faye said, "Give it to me."
Faye took the contract from the house agent and looked it over to make sure there was no problem. Then Faye put the contract in front of Carlotta and handed Carlotta a pen. "Carlotta, there is no problem with the contract. Just sign it."
Then Carlotta took the pen and signed her name on the contract without much thought.
When Carlotta finished signing the contract, the agent smiled. "In all my time as a house agent, I've never seen a buyer as straightforward as you."
Carlotta sensed something wrong in the house agent's words, "Buyer?"
The house agent was stunned and looked at Faye.
Faye said, "I need to talk to my aunt alone."
The house agent understood and stood up with a smile. "Okay. I leave you two to talk and I'll go through the contract process."
As the house agent left, Carlotta looked at Faye in astonishment. "Didn't we agree to rent this place before we came here?"
