My Fair Stunner novel Chapter 563

Chapter 563 Doubt

Colin smiled meaningfully when he heard Robert's words.

Several seconds later, he chuckled and asked, "Did he swallow our bait?"

Robert replied, "Yep. But I haven't agreed to his condition."

Colin said, "Play with him. Maybe he will raise it to five times if you delay it for several days."

Robert replied without any expressional change, "Maybe I can take this chance to make a fortune."

Colin sneered and said, "It's a rare chance. Do grasp it."

Aniston had mixed feelings after leaving Robert's office.

She felt something must have gone wrong, but she couldn't tell what it was.

William hurriedly walked forward when he spotted her. He asked, "Has Robert agreed to help you?"

Aniston replied with a nod, "Yep."

William said, "See, I was right. It's not big trouble and Robert won't refuse it."

Aniston replied to her absent-mindedly. They then took an elevator downstairs.

With the descending of the elevator, Aniston suddenly asked, "William, what kind of person is Robert?"

William was dumbfounded when he heard the question. He asked, "What?"

Aniston knitted her brows, seeming to want to say something.

William asked, "Why do you suddenly ask this question?"

Aniston pressed her lips and said, "I always feel he's not like the boy in my memory."

William suddenly smiled when he heard the words. He said, "It's normal. All human beings will change. Moreover, you haven't contacted each other for years and you would only exchange a few words when you meet."

Aniston replied with a smile, "That's true."

Looking at Aniston who seemed to be pondering about something, Robert coughed lightly and asked, "Come on, are you into..."

Aniston had cooperated with William for years and she immediately got what he wanted to ask. She hurriedly denied it, "Nah."

William said with a smile, "It doesn't matter even if you're into him. Robert is a good man."

Aniston pressed her lips into a straight line and shifted the topic, "I asked Robert to send me to the filming studio to shoot an advertisement later.:

William had always been scrupulous in separating public from private affairs. He immediately stopped talking about Aniston's private affair when the latter mentioned work. He said, "It's a good idea. Many entertainment reporters must be watching you. Rumors about your love affairs will be proved to be wrong if they shoot the scenes about you staying with Robert."

Aniston replied, "Yep."
