Chapter 570 Friendship
Colin said in his usual tone, which was magnetic and bewitching with a hint of a smile.
But only he knew how flustered he was. When Colin finished speaking, Faye remained silent, and he coughed on the phone, "Honey?"
Faye smiled lightly and said, "Have you bought the flight ticket?"
Colin said, "Yes."
Faye asked, "What time is it?"
Colin answered, "At two o'clock in the afternoon, I'll let Andy take you to the airport."
Faye said, "Okay."
Faye agreed happily. Hearing that, Colin paused on the phone for about half a minute. Then he made an excuse and hung up the phone.
Faye put her phone in her pocket.
Seeing this, Lance asked, "Did Colin ask you to leave Cocanel?"
Faye nodded. "If I guessed correctly, he is going to start a fight with Brandon."
Lance's expression became serious. "But we don't know Brandon's background at all. If Colin starts a fight with him, we..."
Faye said calmly, "Maxwell has betrayed him."
Lance did a double take and cried, "Wha...What?"
Faye, "Colin doesn't get into a fight without ammunition."
Neither Faye's men nor Colin's men knew much about Brandon's background.
As a shrewd and deep man, to retaliate against old Mr. Farrell, Brandon had endured hardships for so many years. Therefore, to find more about his background was probably more difficult than winning a lottery.
Colin chose to do it at this point. The only explanation could be that one of Brandon's men had turned against him.
And this person must have had some dealings with Colin and knew about Brandon very well.
Combined with the above clues, the only qualified person was Maxwell.
Lance asked with a frown, "Isn't Maxwell Brandon's son?"
Faye said, "They're father and son relationship, but they are probably not close."
Lance nodded in agreement, "They're like Colin and Blaine."
Faye pursed her lips in silence.
Lance glanced into the kitchen and asked in a low voice, worried that Cindy would hear them, "Then, are you leaving?"
Faye exhaled a long breath. "Yes."
"Why? You know the truth. Why are you still leaving?" Lance asked.
Faye looked back at him, "Well, you keep an eye on it, and we'll keep in touch."
Lance looked at Faye in confusion, not knowing what she wanted to do.
After hanging up the phone, Colin found his back was sweating.
Colin pulled his tie, keeping a cold face, and asked Robert who was standing in front of the desk, frowning, "Robert, how did I do just now?"
Robert laughed dryly, "Very good."
