Chapter 580 The Truth Was Not Being Told
As Colin finished speaking, Abbot laughed out on the other end of the phone.
Then Abbot cleared his throat. "It will be too late for you to call. I have already arrived at the hospital and I've arranged the ward for you. It's a VIP ward."
Colin was speechless.
The two medical staff listening to Colin's phone call were speechless as well.
The staff thought that this was the first time they had met such a family member, who had the ability to predict and went to the hospital in advance to get a VIP ward and wait for the patient.
Colin was loaded into the ambulance, followed by Robert.
Colin and Robert looked at each other. Robert was black and blue. He asked, "Mr. Farrell, am I disfigured?"
Colin replied seriously, "No, you're handsome."
Robert couldn't believe it. "Really?"
Robert felt that the bridge of his nose was crooked when the airbag popped out just now.
Colin said, "Yes."
After Colin finished speaking, he closed his eyes without looking at Robert.
Robert moved his head and glanced at the medical staff sitting on both sides of the ambulance. He saw them all holding back their laughter.
Robert looked puzzled. "What are you laughing at?"
One of the medical staff burst into tears, and said while laughing, "Nothing. I just saw a piece of very funny news."
Robert didn't believe it. "Then what are they laughing at?"
Another medical staff replied, "She shared that very funny news with us just now."
Robert was literally knocked out by the airbag. His mind was so confused that he was easily fooled.
It just got quiet in the ambulance. Colin burst out laughing as he lay on the side.
Robert turned his head to look at Colin with a puzzled face.
Colin said without changing his expression, "I'm laughing at myself."
Robert said, "Fine."
At the same time, Faye knocked on Lance's door after washing up.
Lance opened the door in a grey checked silk nightgown. The buttons of his clothes were messed up.
Faye raised her eyebrows. "What happened to you?"
Lance raised his hand and scratched his hair, leaning against the door frame and said, "It's a long story."
Faye chuckled. "Didn't you sleep well?"
Lance glanced back. Not seeing Andy, Lance leaned closer to Faye. He lowered his voice, "Have you ever seen two men sleeping in a bed with a line drawn?"
Faye couldn't help laughing at the words of Lance. "Andy drew a line between you and him while you were sleeping in the same bed?"
Lance sighed. "He's too defensive."
Faye snickered. "Well, the awareness of prevention should be strengthened. Nowadays, not only girls but also boys should be careful."
