Chapter 621 Rivals in Love
It was really a perfunctory response.
Rebecca stared at him and took a deep breath. "Abbot, I suspect you have been playing dumb before."
Stirring the porridge with a spoon, Abbot paused for a second. He then said with a serious and sincere expression, "No. Absolutely not."
Rebecca sneered in disbelief.
Abbot scooped a spoonful of porridge to Rebecca's mouth. “Have some porridge.”
Rebecca tilted her head to one side. "I'm full."
Abbot raised his eyebrows. "Are you sure?"
After last night, pressing her lips together,Rebecca understood Abbot's implication immediately. After a long time, she said, "Colin was right."
Abbot asked confusedly, "What?"
Rebecca said, "You are a lecher."
Hearing this, Abbot was not offended but nodded solemnly. "Actually, I have had a hard time over the years."
Rebecca was speechless.
Abbot looked at Rebecca and smiled. "So, Ms. Black, I'm sorry that I have to trouble you in the following days. Just think of it as a good deed."
Rebecca glared at him furiously.
Abbot said, "Don't worry. Nowadays, love is not bound by any rules. After this week, if you really want to break up with me, I won't force you."
Looking at his face, Rebecca was completely silent.
As for Colin, after ending the call with Abbot, he turned his phone upside down in his hand and then smiled thoughtfully.
When Faye saw Colin's meaningful smile when she came out from the bathroom, she raised her eyebrows curiously, "What's the matter?"
Colin turned his head and said meaningfully, "Abbot and Rebecca are together."
Faye was stunned for a moment, and then smiled. "I see."
Colin ridiculed, "You best friend has a boyfriend now. Why are you not surprised?"
Faye stepped forward to the wardrobe and replied with a smile, "It meets my expectation."
Colin leaned back slightly with his hands supporting the chair behind him. "Indeed."
Faye took out a suit from the wardrobe and turned to Colin. "Aren't you going to work?"
Colin replied, "I have something to ask Ethan, so I'll meet him first and then go to the company."
Faye nodded without doubt, carrying a suit into the bathroom.
Looking at the closed door of the bathroom, Colin raised his eyebrows.
Having gotten married for such a long time, Faye still didn't change her clothes in front of him.
After a while, Faye came out, and Colin happened to be neatly dressed.
They looked at each other. Colin went to Faye and bowed to give her a kiss. "Have lunch together?"
Faye smiled. "OK."
