Wallace's expression changed when he heard those words. He reached for the teacup, took a sip of the tea, and said, "Ms. Nash, I can't answer your question. There are rules in every industry. If I betray the person who gave me the recording, how am I supposed to stay in this business in the future?"

Faye said, "Four million dollars."

Wallace was stunned for a moment. Then, he continued to drink his tea and said, "It's not about the money."

Faye looked at him and offered, "Seven million dollars."

Wallace was shocked at first but returned to his senses soon after. He chuckled and asked, "Ms. Nash, it's not easy for me to come this far in this industry. Isn't it too little for you to pay me seven million to end my career?"

Faye answered without changing her expression, "Seven million. If Mr. Fisher is not willing to do so, I won't force you."
