Chapter 728 Sleeping in the Car
The way that Abbot spoke and acted looked timid but he was serious.
Rebecca pursed her lips and looked at him for a moment. After a few seconds, she took out her car keys from her pocket and unlocked her car. Then, she muttered, "Who wants your money?"
After that, Rebecca bent and got into her car.
Abbot stood still while watching Rebecca get into her car.
Then, Rebecca looked at him through the car window and they were silent for a while. When Rebecca was about to call him to get into the car, she saw two girls pushing each other and approaching Abbot.
Before Rebecca could react, one of the girls had already taken the initiative to talk to Abbot.
"Hi, there. We don't have our mobile phone with us and we are separated from our friends. May I borrow your mobile phone?"
After the girl finished speaking, Abbot withdrew his gaze from Rebecca's car window. Then, he looked down and lied, "I'm sorry. I don't have my mobile phone with me."
The girl blushed when she heard that and turned to look at her friend.
They were all adults. As long as she wasn't a fool, she could basically understand that was a polite refusal.
The girl backed down, but the girl's friend was unwilling to leave. She tugged at the girl's hand, looked at Abbot, and said, "Sir, may we be friends? We are from Caribbean University."
The Caribbean University was a well-known university in Cocanel with high-achieving students.
After the girl finished speaking, she stared at Abbot with her sparkling eyes.
Abbot looked indifferent and answered, "No."
The girl and her friend were speechless.
Rebecca, who was sitting in the car and watching the whole incident through the car window was speechless too.
Those words that Abbot said were quite cruel. In general, sensible people would have felt embarrassed.
However, that girl was not an ordinary person. She didn't flinch or gave up. She grabbed Abbot's sleeve with her hands coquettishly and said, "Just add my contact. You aren't making any loss by having more friends."
After the girl finished speaking, Abbot frowned, looked at the car window, and said, "Rebecca."
Rebecca felt her heart skip a beat when her name was called.
The next second, Abbot continued, "Are you just going to watch other women dragging your boyfriend like this?"
Rebecca remained silent.
Those two girls who were in front of Abbot were speechless too.
Rebecca's car window was tinted in brown color. People could hardly notice whether or not someone was inside without paying attention.
Hearing that, those two girls turned to look at the car behind them.
