Chapter 766 My Company Was Still There
Abbot acknowledged euphemistically.
Rebecca looked down at him, her head buzzing for a moment, and she didn't recover from the shock for a while.
After a while, Rebecca calmed down, but she had mixed feelings.
What should she say?
She had really mixed feelings.
She loved her company!
Whenever she thought of the company she sold, she felt heartbroken.
Seeing Rebecca not responding for a long time, Abbot's hand holding the ring box trembled and he said, "I'm sorry, Becca."
Rebecca took a deep breath and said, "Give me some time."
After finishing speaking, Rebecca turned and walked to pick up her coat, and then quickly left the room.
Seeing this, Faye quickly chased out.
A few minutes later, Faye caught up with Rebecca and dragged her into the car.
Rebecca sat in a daze on the passenger seat.
Faye said sincerely, "I'm sorry. I'm very sorry about it."
Faye didn't say some meaningless words.
She was wrong.
No matter how many reasons she had, she was still wrong.
Even a white lie was a lie.
Faye finished speaking, and Rebecca took a deep breath and said, "I didn't blame you. You also never thought that I would sell my company for Abbot."
The atmosphere inside the car was oppressive and awkward.
After a moment, Rebecca reached out and patted Faye's shoulder. She pretended to be relaxed and said, "Alright, don't think too much. Send me back and let me think about this thing."
Rebecca added, "Drive me back to my mom's place."
Faye pursed her lips and said with a heavy heart, "Okay."
Then Faye turned the steering wheel and started driving.
About forty minutes later, the car arrived outside the Blacks' villa.
Rebecca pushed the door open and got out of the car, while Faye followed closely.
Rebecca turned around and chuckled lightly, "Go back. I'm fine."
Faye said, "I watched you enter the house."
Rebecca smiled, waved her hand at Faye, and turned to enter the house.
Rebecca turned around and just took two steps when her phone, which was in her pocket, suddenly rang.
She stopped and took out her phone from her pocket. It was Tanner's message on Instagram.
Tanner?
Rebecca clicked it in surprise and was stunned when she saw the content.
Tanner: [I heard that you had sold your company. It was eventually bought by Abbot. But you probably don't know that before Abbot, Faye had already asked her assistant to contact a company and planned to help you.]
After reading Tanner's message, Rebecca turned her head in shock.
Faye looked at Rebecca's red eyes and was slightly stunned. "What's wrong?"
Faye's words fell, and Rebecca rushed towards her, throwing herself into Faye's arms.
Faye didn't know why, so her heart sank and she thought something bad had happened. "What's going on?"
Rebecca was both excited and distressed. "My company is still there. It was bought by Abbot."
Faye responded, "Yes."
Rebecca was not as tall as Faye, so her forehead was against Faye's shoulder. "If Abbot didn't buy my company, you would also buy it, right?"
Faye froze and asked, "How do you know that?"
Rebecca turned from sad to happy, and she pinched Faye's waist fiercely.
Faye instinctively dodged, and Rebecca smiled with red eyes. She finally had an outburst after all the things that happened this evening.
"You guys hid a lot from me. You all treated me like a fool, right?"
