Maybe Yesseca was cold-blooded.
She said, "Sheldon, you are right! So what if I am a cold-blooded person?"
She could be nice to anyone.
But not to Tremaine.
She would never forget how he hurt her when she trusted him.
She shed so many tears for him.
She barely walked out from the pain that drowned her.
How could she not hate him?
She hated him.
A lot.
Even the mention of his name would make her blood boil.
It was as if her whole body was burning.
"Miss Cowell." Sheldon couldn't help but say in a cold tone, "I've told Mr. Tremaine everything you said from the last call. As for what he would do is out of my control. Why not tell him personally?"
Yesseca tightened her grip on her phone and bit her lower lip.
Seeing that she did not speak, he continued, "If you want to see him, I can arrange it for you. That' s the most I can do for you since I have no say in what Mr. Tremaine does."
"Beep!"
Sheldon hung up the phone directly.
Holding the phone, Yesseca froze.
Preslie asked cautiously, "Yesseca, are you all right?"
Yesseca shook her head.
She sat down, looking dazed.
After some time, she said, "I'll make another call to Sheldon. I'll meet Tremaine!"
Sheldon's words made sense.
His words could not influence Tremaine.
She had to speak to Tremaine herself.
She might as well throw caution to the wind!
