When Madam Quartley went looking for Tremaine, the servants informed her that he was still asleep.

Madam Quartley was quiet.

She then said, "That won't do! He needs to wake up now!"

Madam Quartley entered Tremaine's bedroom.

When she reached his bedside, she looked at Tremaine who was still sleeping with his eyes closed. She leaned in and whispered, "Tremaine, it's time to get up. The sun is already up."

Tremaine's eyelashes trembled when he heard her voice.

"Yesseca, don't go, don't leave me." He said this out loud, but his eyes were still closed.

Madam Quartley looked at him quietly.

"I'm your grandmother, Tremaine!" She had raised her voice.

Tremaine still didn't open his eyes. Instead, he reached out his hand and grabbed the corner of Madama Quartley's dress. He then said very urgently, "Yesseca, don't leave me! I'll do anything you want! Anything! Just please don't leave me."

"Yesseca, I love you. Don't leave me..."

Madam Quartley grew anxious and angry. She spoke again in a very loud and solemn voice. "Tremaine! Stop messing around! Wake up!"

Her voice echoed throughout the entire bedroom.

Tremaine then finally woke up.

When he opened his eyes and saw Madam Quartley, his eyes flashed with a moment of realization.

Madam Quartley said angrily, "Tremaine! You are the president of Nashaland! What do you think you look like right now? Wake up right this instant! Stop messing around!"

Tremaine's eyelids grew heavier. Then, he muttered, "You're not Yesseca. I want to go back to sleep. I can see her again in my dreams."

Seeing that Tremaine was about to close his eyes again, Madam Quartley became so angry that her face turned green. "Tremaine! Wake up! Have you forgotten your duties? Stop thinking about that woman all the time!"

Tremaine ignored her and closed his eyes.
