Sheldon listened quietly.
Even though he had no idea why Tremaine was looking for bread, he guessed that it involved Yesseca.
Yesseca ran a bakery after all.
Sheldon sighed.
It seemed that he still felt the same for Yesseca, just like before.
He was worried that things wouldn't change at all.
What a crime.
They loved each other so much, but ended up like this.
After he sighed, Sheldon said to the attendant, "Don't worry. You can do it."
The attendant searched for three whole days, but couldn't find the bread he was told to find.
He found plenty of healthy bread, but none of them were very tasty.
Then, the attendant heard about someone who could help him.
A master baker who had retired.
He was told to have amazing skills! A man with his talents could surely help him out!
The attendant went to see him right away.
But was refused.
Left with no choice, the attendant said that at Tremaine's request.
He may not be in Nashaland, but everyone knew Tremaine, he was the president after all.
This master baker surely would answer to his request.
But the old man ignored him all the same.
The attendant grew angry.
He then blurted out loud, "How dare you refuse the president's request! Perhaps you are unaware, but the president of Nashaland has maintained good relations with your country for years!"
The old man's assistant walked out and said, "The master is seventy years old. He's too old to care about any of that. He'll refuse to see anyone he doesn't wish to, let alone your president of Nashaland. Even if he were to come here in person, our master will still refuse him."
The attendant tried to convince them for a very long time, but the old man still refused to see him. In the end, he was left with no choice but to return to Tremaine empty-handed.
"Sir, that old man is outrageous!" The attendant continued angrily, "I told him that you're the president of Nashaland! But he still refused!"
