Seeing that Seven was growing well, Ruth was relieved.
She played with her son.
She would giggle when he giggled.
It was a happy scene.
Sheldon couldn't help but be moved when he saw it.
In the blink of an eye, three hours had passed.
Since Seven was young, he needed much sleep.
After playing for so long, he was exhausted and fell asleep.
He fell asleep in Ruth's arms.
Sheldon couldn't help saying, "Miss Welmert, why not get a hotel room so he can sleep in a bed?"
Ruth shook her head and said, "Just let me hold him. I don't have many chances to do so, so I don't want to put him down, even when he is sleeping."
After a pause, she smiled again and said, "You don't know anything about this because you don't have a child. Kids love sleeping in their mother's arms, unlike adults who like beds."
Sheldon said, "I see. But..."
He glanced at the child in Ruth's arms. "Miss Welmert, I want to talk to you about something."
She was stunned for a moment and said, "Go ahead. He's sound asleep. He won't wake up easily, so don't worry about talking in front of him." Although Ruth did not been with Levon for long, she understood his needs well.
It was only because a female employee of the store had just given birth.
Ruth would always discuss parenting topics with her.
Despite knowing she would never raise her own child.
At least she could see Levon from time to time.
She didn't want to be at a loss when she saw him, not knowing what to do.
