He had spent nearly three days and two nights without sleep, relying on energy drinks to keep going.
He couldn't bring himself to sleep, afraid of falling back into that dreadful nightmare.
He worried about what those wicked women would do to him in his dreams.
"They must hate me so much, wanting to devour my flesh and drink his blood!" he thought.
He figured he would need to find the best exorcist from a church to banish them, tearing their souls into pieces.
As he was contemplating that, the driver in front suddenly turned his head around with a creaking sound.
"You can't go to church, but you can go to Hell!"
Rotten flesh peeled away from the driver's face, revealing pale white bones.
"Ah!" Brian screamed in terror.
Then, he felt the ground beneath him disappear into thin air.
With a thud, he fell back into the water.
A swollen body floated in the dirty and murky water.
Brian was terrified and struggled desperately to swim toward the shore.
Behind him, the floating corpse seemed to be staring at him.
Already Brian feeling guilty, he suspected it was Jane who was gazing at him.
Finally, he managed to crawl back to the shore.
He realized he was in the wilderness.
The sky above him was overcast, and the flowing river behind him was shrouded by thick fog.
A swollen figure with disheveled hair stood in the water, but he couldn't see its face clearly. The figure looked at him with resentment.
Brian collapsed onto the ground, scrambling backward to keep his distance from the figure.
The figure remained standing in the water, seemingly unable to get any closer.
Then, Brian realized something. "Haha, you died in the water, so you can't come ashore!"
After a laughing fit, he heard the sound of digging behind him.
By then, Brian was already feeling on edge.
He kept his eyes warily on the figure in the water while inching toward the source of the sound.
