Athena pinched his chin, lowered her eyelids, thought for a while, and said, "Later, life is long. There's a chance."
Finished.
It seemed that she didn't want to give Byron another chance to fight for it.
Athena lowered her head and kissed Byron.
It was not merely one touch.
Byron responded immediately.
Athena drank most of the wine on the table.
She was a good drinker.
This amount was just right. Thoughts began to drift, and everything around them, too, became hazy and romantic.
"Byron, still headache?"
She broke away from a long, passionate kiss.
And looked at the man with wet eyes in front of her. Byron's eyes were passionate, and his breathing long ago was disorganized and out of order.
It seemed that time had been pulled back to the past instantly.
There was not so much fuss back then.
They were meant for each other immensely on so many nights of mingling.
Byron shook his head.
Then kissed her again.
"Go back to the room..." Athena was still struggling with her last sliver of rationality.
Byron looked at her, raised his eyebrows, and smiled. "Mrs. Crawford, we should continue where it should be done."
Athena was startled.
Byron kissed more passionately.
He wrapped her waist and fumbled for the remote control on the table near the couch. Then he closed and locked the cellar door from inside.
After this, he threw away the remote.
Held Athena tightly with both hands.
Although it had been six years, they were still the people who knew each other the most.
Outside the small window.
The morning sun is shining slightly.
Athena lay exhausted in Byron's arms.
The hair on the forehead was already wet with sweat.
"Mr. Crawford, won't you grow old?" Athena asked weakly.
How could he be so energetic?
Byron laughed.
Then he kissed her fingertips and clasped his ten fingers together. "Thank you for your hard work, Mrs. Crawford. I will pay attention next time."
