"What?" Aron looked expectant.
"You put me down first..."
Aron carefully let go and put Evie down.
Evie led him to sit on the sofa.
Then, from nowhere, she got a blindfold and put it on Aron. "Sit here and don't move. Wait for me!"
"Okay."
Aron was so obedient.
Then she heard Evie running upstairs.
After a while,
she ran down quickly again and ran to him.
"Aron, I'm coming," Evie said softly.
Aron felt as if someone had taken a feather and gently swept it over his heart.
"Hmm." He responded.
His heart beat so fast for no reason.
After a while,
Evie's soft hand held his left hand.
Then the cold touch entered his ring finger.
It was a ring.
Aron couldn't hold back anymore.
He pulled off the blindfold.
Evie just looked up. The two looked at each other.
"Ring..."
Evie pointed to his ring finger.
The ring was a normal type. But it was polished very surprisingly, enough to see the intention of the person who made it.
"Where did you get it?" Aron asked.
"I did it. Don't you like it? I knew it wouldn't work... Let's buy one."
Then, Evie wanted to take off the ring.
Aron curled up his finger, clenched his fist, and avoided Evie's hand. "Who said I didn't like it? I like it very much! I like this the most in the world!"
