"Sure, I'll leave it up to you."
All that time, Ottilie saw everything she had done as a challenge to earn herself the right to stay.
The issue of her father's retirement weighed heavily on her heart.
"I'll take you to the school later."
Ottilie looked puzzled. "School?"
"Are you scared?" Athena sensed her unease.
"There are many strangers, and it doesn't feel safe," she said honestly.
Familiar faces could be recognized even with disguises, but strangers could easily lurk around her even without masks.
So, it was quite dangerous.
"I'll show you around the school first, and then you can decide if you want to go or not."
"Okay." Ottilie nodded.
She really liked that beautiful and wealthy woman.
She was unlike anyone else she had met, for she wouldn't force her to do anything.
She could choose to stay if she wished to, or she could leave, too, if that was what she desired.
She could also either attend school or choose not to.
"Let's go then."
"What about my father?"
"He'll join you later. It's not the right time for him to be in public right now."
"Okay."
Ottilie was very easygoing.
Soon, she got into the car that would take her to school.
The car drove straight into the campus.
At that time, the final exams were still ongoing, and Athena took Ottilie to the teacher's office.
Coincidentally, Paul, whom she hadn't seen for a while, was also there.
"I worked hard to secure a one-year exchange opportunity in Lozangler City for you. Why won't you take it!" The teacher was frustrated. "You little rascal, you seem to be getting more rebellious!"
Paul was still wearing a washed-out jacket.
