Mia was pitiful. "When will I grow up?"
"Just for a drink?" Athena asked.
"No, I can do many things when I grow up. I can become the president of my father's company and inherit Stella Group. Then you won't have to work so hard!" Mia said, watching Athena and touching Athena's cheek. She said with great distress, "I don't like you being too tired at all!"
Athena's heart throbbed with pain. "But Mommy doesn't want you and your brother to grow up so quickly. When you grow up, you will fly high and immediately leave Mommy."
"No, we won't!" Mia immediately promised, "Mia and Aiden will always be with Mommy!"
Athena laughed. "Little girl, Mommy can't hold you anymore."
Mia immediately struggled to get off Athena's body and then took Athena's hand with her small hand. "It's okay that you can't hold me anymore. You don't need to hold me in the future. We can still hold hands and walk together!"
"OK!" Athena nodded vigorously.
Then she and Mia went upstairs hand in hand.
After Athena finished washing up, Mia had already warmed up the bed.
Athena lay on her side, looking at cute Mia.
Mia grew up a bit and looked like Byron more.
"Mia, I want to tell you about your dad," Athena spoke. Her eyes turned red unconsciously, and her voice was choked up.
Mia looked at her and tilted her head slightly. "Something happened to him, right?"
Athena nodded, and tears rolled down her eyes. "It was my fault. I was accidentally caught by the villains. Dad was hurt by the villains in order to save me."
Mia gently wiped Athena's tears. "It's not your fault, Mommy. Husbands should protect their wives. This is what Daddy should do. The ones who are wrong are the bad guys!"
She paused as if mustering up the courage.
