Everyone was filled with righteous indignation.
They prepared to fiercely confront the thugs called over by the businessman.
Zora found an excuse and drove to her family's hotel.
The Welding family's hotel is one of the largest on the island, with more than forty rooms.
The architecture was local in style, primarily made of stone and wood.
"Mom!"
Zora jumped out of the car and rushed inside.
"What's the matter?" A somewhat plump woman hurriedly greeted her. "Didn't you say another person had arrived? Did you meet them?"
"Yes," Zora replied with a stern face, "It's a woman. She looks fragile as if she could be broken easily. Her skin has a unique glow to it, but she's ruthless, different from the previous two!"
The previous two had always been reasonably polite, never confronting them directly, like wolves in sheep's clothing.
"A woman?" Zora's mother's face became tense. "What kind of woman? Do you know what her position is at Imbe Group?"
"I'm not sure. Liam calls her Mrs. Crawford. She probably holds a position higher than Liam, who is the vice president. Could it be the president who recently lost her husband?" Zora speculated.
As Zora finished, her mother's legs gave way, and she nearly collapsed.
Zora immediately supported her. "Mom, what happened?"
"Nothing..." The woman was flustered, then firmly gripped Zora's hand. "Zora! They have already offered a lot of compensation. We can run the hotel somewhere else. It doesn't have to be here. Let's leave, and you should marry Alan as soon as possible. Our family can still live comfortably!"
