Zora's hand froze in mid-air.
"Alan..." She looked very depressed.
Alan turned pale apologetically. "Give me some more time."
"Hmm, I won't push you. We have a lifetime. I'll wait for you to get better." Zora smiled gently.
Alan smiled back.
The headache was quite severe.
He took another look at the position where Logan installed the surveillance camera. "It might be a surveillance device."
"Surveillance?" Zora stared in shock. "Are they going to monitor the Coral Sea?"
"I suppose so," Alan answered, "But it doesn't matter. I can confirm that the corals are endangered. When more authoritative experts arrive and identify it, I have a way to stop them from starting work on the island."
Zora lowered her eyes. "But that woman said even if they don't start work, they will drive us out!"
The ownership was in their hands.
Zora knew Athena was capable of driving them out!
"I'll find a way. You and Bertha don't need to worry," Alan spoke softly.
Of course, Zora was worried because Athena seemed tough.
But Alan had a headache. She didn't want him to think anymore, so she nodded gently.
Just then, someone downstairs called Zora.
It sounded urgent.
Zora looked at Alan.
Alan nodded at her. "Go ahead. I'll be fine soon."
"Hmm!"
Zora ran downstairs in a hurry.
