Chapter 147 Threw the Condoms
Byron carried Athena to the bedroom. He carefully put her on the bed and covered her with the blanket.
Under the warm light, she slept peacefully.
Byron fiddled with her hair lightly and kissed her lips.
The moment Athena said to him in a sweet voice, Byron suddenly realized what he had lost.
Whenever he thought she would not speak to him like that when she was sober, he felt an ineffable pain in his heart.
In the future, she might not be gentle to him even when she was not sober.
After a long while, a voice deepest in his heart asked, "Byron, is it worth it?"
For fear of disturbing Athena to sleep, Byron went to the guest bathroom to take a shower.
When he came back, his eyes fell on the bedside table.
He pondered for a moment and then walked over to open the drawer.
In the drawer, the condoms were neatly placed.
Without hesitation, Byron took them all out and threw them into the trash can.
It seemed he was worried Athena would pick them up, so he went to throw out the trash himself, which was really rare on usual.
Even though Athena had rejected to have a child, Byron had made up his mind.
No matter how she thought of him, he would do any despicable thing to keep her staying with him.
He felt he couldn't live without Athena anymore.
After turning off the light in the bedroom, Byron lay down and pulled Athena into his arms as before.
Not long after, Athena woke up.
After being in a daze for a while, she said, "Byron, it's so late. You..."
Before she finished speaking, Byron kissed her.
Byron had always been more active than Athena when taking precautions, so Athena didn't pay attention to it as usual.
Athena's mind was a mess, and her rationality was overwhelmed by pleasure.
The next morning, Athena woke up and recalled what happened last night.
She suddenly realized some steps seemed to be missing last night.
