Athena saw that his expression turned gloomy, so she hurriedly hugged him. "All right. Let's stop talking about the past. We'll have a long future to look forward to."
As she said, she patted Byron's back lightly. "The past has long been unimportant, and now I just want a long future with you, okay?"
"Okay."
Byron buried his head in Athena's neck.
It pained him to think that he might have treated her badly.
"We'll go home tomorrow." Athena continued to coax him softly. "Summer is coming too. We took Aiden and Mia to camp last summer, and they were so happy. Shall we go camping this year too?"
"Okay." Byron nodded immediately.
"There is one more thing. I want our family to accompany Evie to Northern Canakey when she gives birth. So she won't have to decide whether to give birth in Girard City or Northern Canakey."
"Is Aron's family in Northern Canakey?" Byron asked.
"Yeah!" Athena nodded. "Evie said some elders over there who watched you grow up would love to see you again. The environment there is very good with fresh air, so we can go there as a vacation!"
"It's all right. I'll be where you are!" Byron hugged Athena even more tightly. "Honey, I will work very hard to recover to relieve your stress!"
"Byron, you don't have to work so hard. I don't feel much pressure." Athena said softly, "You used to be very tired. Now take it easy and treat it as a rest you haven't been able to get before."
Byron thought about it and said okay.
But he still made up his mind in his heart to get better as soon as possible!
Feeling the early summer night wind for a while, Athena returned to the room with Byron.
Mia and Aiden slept soundly.
Athena went forward and kissed them on the cheeks many times.
"So cute." Athena looked back at Byron and said with a smile.
