Chapter 152 Living in Shame
Liam closed the door and went out.
A moment later, Athena's phone rang again.
Athena saw that it was the same strange number just now and picked it up.
"Athena! The lawyer's letter you sent has been sent to my home! What do you mean?"
The phone was connected, and before Athena could speak, she heard David's roar.
Athena frowned and hung up the phone directly.
Soon, David called again.
Athena waited for the phone to ring for a while before answering it leisurely.
"Miss Newton, don't be too extreme!" David said through gritted teeth.
Athena smiled gently. "I told you about the lawsuit on the spot. You need to pay for your own actions. What was too extreme about that?"
Athena heard the voice of David gritting his teeth.
"We all work for the Crawford family, and there's no need to make a fuss about it. You... You withdraw the lawsuit!"
Athena leaned back on the chair.
"Are you ordering me?"
David also felt the coercion through the phone.
"No... I'm discussing with you!"
"Mr. Zucker, as far as I know, you can be regarded as a habitual offender. There used to be a female analyst in the Crawford Group. She was beautiful and had outstanding abilities. She did very well in several consecutive quarterly assessments, and she was about to be promoted to director. You don't like to see a successful woman, so you spread rumors about how many superiors she slept with. As a result, the analyst, in the rumors, suffered from severe bipolar disorder, attempted suicide several times, and finally almost went to jail for attacking you."
"She couldn't even handle people's words, and that's a sign of her incompetence!" David continued to speak stubbornly.
"Really?" Athena smiled. "Then I want to see how Mr. Zucker will show off your incredible ability when faced with people's words!"
"What do you mean?"
David raised his voice and asked.
