Chapter 1594 Left the Monastery
It had been almost ten years since she last saw Elijah.
The day prior, Gideon's mother had approached her. Simply put, she proposed to Sally a certain amount of money in exchange for leaving Gideon. She claimed she would never allow her son to be with a disreputable, illegitimate child in secrecy. She was entirely against this marriage.
She would choose to die before Gideon if he insisted on marrying her forcibly.
Sally wasn't someone with an excellent temper.
If Sally had learned to be submissive, she wouldn't have ended up being abandoned by her father, would she?
Sally had an intense argument with Gideon's mother.
As soon as Gideon walked in, his mother slumped onto the couch, whether genuinely unwell or not.
Regardless of who was at fault, Gideon's accusations were aimed at her. Heartbroken, she packed her things and left Mailand.
The next day, she reunited with Elijah on a cruise ship.
She was in a daze and accidentally collided with someone on the deck.
"Sally?" The person recognized her and was greatly surprised. Then, he turned and shouted, "Uncle Elijah, come here quickly!"
Sally was feeling very confused at that particular moment.
To be honest, she had succeeded in offending even Byron. Sally had a pretty good idea of how many people she had offended.
She thought she had encountered yet another victim of her past persecution.
She immediately wanted to run. "I'm not Sally. You've got the wrong person!"
Unbeknownst to her, the opposing party's defensive abilities proved remarkable as she attempted to make a quick escape. He grabbed her arm and said, "It's you! It's you! I would still recognize you even if you were reduced to ashes. Uncle Elijah! Elijah Patterson! Come quick!!"
