"How's Athena's appetite today?" Byron asked.
"With Miss Cross here, Miss Newton seems very happy. She has eaten a lot for both lunch and dinner." The old servant replied.
"Good."
Byron responded.
Then he walked towards the room where Athena was resting.
Athena and Evie were sleeping together.
He went over gently, picked her up, and went to another bedroom.
Because of what happened last night, Athena was in a light sleep.
When Byron entered, she woke up.
However, she was worried about waking Evie up, which was embarrassing.
So she opened her eyes only after she got out the door. "You... put me down. I can go by myself."
Her voice sounded better.
But it still sounded a little hoarse.
"No." Byron refused and insisted on hugging Athena to another bedroom.
Carefully putting her down, Byron sat beside her.
Her face was less swollen but still bruised.
"How about it? The Ross family..."
"Athena." Byron interrupted her.
Athena looked at him. "What's wrong?"
"When your face recovers, choose a date, and let's get married." Byron said slowly.
Athena froze.
"What did you say?"
Byron held her cheeks and approached her. "I said let's get married."
"Are you kidding? You and Heather..."
"It won't be long before she breaks off the engagement with me herself." Byron sounded a bit colder.
Athena was still at a loss.
