While saying, Byron took a long step and walked straight out of the elevator.
Surveillance cameras in the garage were much simpler to deal with.
After Byron left the elevator and entered the garage, he got into the outermost car and left in a hurry.
Dorian squinted at Athena.
He thought that, according to the general plot, if a man rushed out so early in the morning but not for work and had not told his wife yet, then the most likely situation was he had an affair.
"Show me the surveillance footage in the elevator again," Athena said.
The administrator of the monitoring room immediately complied.
Athena stared at the screen.
She finally found out what was wrong when she watched it for the first time.
Byron did not use crutches.
His legs were still weak. If he stood without crutches, he had to hold on to something.
But from the third floor to the garage on the first floor, although he was anxious, he stood firm.
"Call Martin over," Athena said coldly.
"Martin just answered a call and went out in a hurry," Dorian still took out his cell phone after saying that and immediately called Martin.
The call was answered quickly.
Dorian put the phone on the speaker. "Martin, Mrs. Crawford is looking for you. Where did you go?"
"Dorian, I have something that needs to be dealt with here. Please tell Mrs. Crawford that I'll be back soon!"
Athena directly took Dorian's cell phone over without saying anything.
"Martin, I just found out that Byron is not at home, and his phone can't be reached. Do you know where he has gone?" Athena asked coldly. The moment Martin opened his mouth to answer, Athena warned him with a cold tone, "Don't lie. Otherwise, you will be fired."
"Mrs. Crawford, please don't make this hard for me." Martin was almost crying over there.
"You are going to meet Byron now, right?"
Martin didn't say anything, and Athena took it as his acquiescence.
"He told you not to tell me about you going to meet him, right?"
Martin remained silent, which was regarded as acquiescence.
"Send me the address," Athena said.
"Mrs. Crawford... I can assure you that Mr. Crawford definitely didn't have an affair!" Martin said in extreme anxiety.
"I know." Athena spoke coldly. "Just give me the address. I won't let him know that I went."
Athena paused before continuing, "Martin, Byron is my husband and the father of my children. I have to know what happened to him. Do you understand?"
Byron had indeed been acting strange recently. Martin could feel it.
Especially...
Martin took a look at the place he was going to.
It was a police station in a town more than sixty miles away from the city.
