"You have no conscience! Do you know how sad Athena was when her family left her one by one? When her mother died, she was so little!! Where were you at that time? When her grandmother passed away, do you know what she told me? She said she had no family left in this world! Where were you?"
Willie returned the flowers to her while speaking.
"You didn't care when she was alive, and now you're pretending to act all sad. Ugh! Give this flower to whoever they like!"
Then he left directly.
"How rude..." Jaxson looked at Rose and said, "Madam, shall we go in?"
"What he said just now? What's my granddaughter's name?" Rose came back to her senses and asked in a low voice.
"Athena? I think." Jaxson replied.
She didn't know why but subconsciously thought of Athena Newton.
"Did he just say all her family members are gone?" Rose asked again.
"That's what he meant." He nodded.
A wave of dizziness hit her.
Jaxson supported her.
"Madam!"
"I'm okay." She calmed down. "Let's go in. I... I need to see her!"
She followed Jaxson and finally stood before Stacy's tomb after over twenty years.
In the tombstone photo, Stacy was smiling like before.
She stroked it gently with her trembling hands.
"Stacy, Mom came to see you. I found out what happened back then. It was Lien. She set you up... I was stupid to be fooled!" Cried out, Rose.
Then she saw a name in the lower right corner.
"Daughter, Athena Newton."
She felt as struck by lightning.
