Seraphina looked in the direction Byron left.
"Are you overthinking? He is such a cold and indifferent person. Today, he did not leave you and even didn't eat much."
Freya sneered.
"But he's been absent-minded."
"He's probably trying to figure out what to do with the substitute. After all, you, the one he loved, are back." Seraphina mentioned the substitute with a contemptuous expression.
Freya didn't speak, turned around, and walked into the apartment.
After nightfall, it began to rain.
It was freezing.
Byron parked the car on the side of the road and sat in the car, smoking.
Until late at night, Byron started the car and left. He was aimless at first, but he drove and arrived near Athena's apartment.
For so many years, being on Athena's side had always made him feel at ease.
After parking the car, Byron went to Athena's apartment with tired steps.
Because he thought that Athena was not there, he directly unlocked the room with his fingerprint.
"Byron?"
When he just took off his coat, the bedroom door opened. And Athena was wearing soft pajamas, standing there with sleepy eyes.
Byron was taken aback.
The lights were dim and warm. Athena exuded a peaceful atmosphere that made him feel at ease.
"You're back?" Byron said as he walked over quickly and hugged her forcefully.
Warm Athena.
It was real, not a dream.
"You hurt me." Athena patted him on the back lightly. "Relax!"
"Why did you come back by yourself? Are you angry that I didn't pick you up?" Byron asked nervously.
Ever since Athena showed her true colors, she would run away if she were not happy.
Maybe she just came back today to pack her things.
If he didn't come, she would run away!
