"Did Byron mention it?"

"He talked about his own background," Athena replied, her eyes lowered.

Gerry shook his head. "When it happened, I strongly disagreed. I tried to stop it, and for that, I got slapped twice by Sir Crawford. He said I couldn't understand the pain since I never lost a child."

Athena didn't respond to that.

It seemed like Gerry was reminded of a painful memory, and he started feeling unwell.

Seeing this, his disciple quickly took him to the hospital without hesitation.

Liam looked utterly exhausted.

Seeing him like this, Athena softly said, "You've worked hard today. Go get some rest, and I'll treat you to a meal another day."
