Athena felt funny.
She put down the flowers and woke Evie up.
"Back?" Evie stretched herself.
"We'll each hug one and take them back to the room to sleep," Athena said.
Evie nodded, sleepy. She hugged Aiden, who was closer to her, and carried him upstairs.
Aiden woke up in a daze.
Drowsy, he saw Athena and waved at her.
He dropped his head and continued to sleep.
Athena smiled and picked up Mia, who was sleeping like a piglet, and couldn't help kissing her cute face.
Then Athena carried her upstairs.
Evie and Athena put the two children on the bed.
Athena kissed them, said good night in a gentle voice, and went out quietly.
"How is it? Is the framework done?" Evie yawned.
"Roughly." Athena nodded.
"My company's business is almost done. I can finally rest for a few days." Evie looked relaxed.
Athena said congratulations and then changed the subject. "By the way, I may have forgotten if you didn't mention the rest. Your mother said you didn't answer her call."
Evie was taken aback.
She looked depressed. "Caspian's blind date partner is going to my mother's house for dinner tomorrow. My mother insists on letting me go back, but how could I be absent from Mia's art exhibition?"
Athena looked at Evie. "Stop talking nonsense! The art exhibition doesn't require you to stay all day."
Evie was helpless.
"Anyway, I don't want to go back."
Saying that, Evie seemed afraid that Athena would ask any more questions, so she hurried back to her room.
Athena stood where she was.
Standing there, she looked worried.
There was something wrong with Evie. When did it start?
It seemed to start from the presence of Caspian's blind date partner...
For a moment, Athena seemed to think of something.
But before she could figure it out, it disappeared.
"Well, she is not a child..."
Athena patted her forehead.
