Mia followed Byron away, and Athena was restless. After sending Aiden home, she found an excuse and went out.
Athena was in the car not far away when Byron came out with Mia in his arms.
She watched Byron squatting in front of Mia, Mia hugging him reluctantly, and he stood there without moving for a long time after Mia left.
Her feelings were indescribably complicated.
But who was to blame?
Initially, Byron could have all of these.
She gave him a chance, but how did he do it?
"Let's go."
Athena withdrew her gaze, and her tone was cold.
The driver started the car, and Athena didn't look at Byron again when she passed him.
Athena arrived home.
Mia just got out of the car.
Without the joy she had when she went out in the morning, she drooped her head, stared at her shoes, and walked forward absent-mindedly.
She didn't even notice Athena arrived.
Alice wanted to remind her.
Athena stopped Alice.
After Mia entered the house, Athena asked Alice, "Didn't you say she had a good time? Why is she like this?"
Alice hurriedly replied, "It's true that she had a good time. Probably because she was reluctant to part with Mr. Crawford, she wept when we left. No matter how I coax her, it's useless!"
Athena's heart sank.
"Does she get along well with Mr. Crawford?" She asked.
"Very good. Although Mr. Crawford looks fierce, he treats the young lady very well. When playing in the playground, a brat almost hurt the lady. Mr. Crawford ran over, helped the young lady block it, and scared the grandmother of the brat away!" Alice said excitedly.
"Really?"
Athena responded lightly.
"Yeah!" Alice nodded.
