"Mia, do you remember what I said?"
Byron squatted before Mia and straightened her collar and hair.
"Yeah." Mia nodded. She didn't want to leave. "Will you visit the kitten every day?"
"Of course." Byron nodded, "I will also take pictures and videos of the cat and send them to your brother, so he can show you."
"That's very kind of you." Mia hugged Byron. "Thank you, Byron."
Byron patted her on the back lightly. "Good girl. Go. Your brother is waiting for you."
"Goodbye, Byron," Mia muttered.
She wished she could take Byron with her.
Alice picked up Mia
and let her head lay on her shoulder. Mia kept staring at Byron when she was brought to the car.
The car door was opened, and Mia was placed on the safety seat. Her vision was blocked.
She wanted to stick her head out to see Byron.
Suddenly, she heard her brother saying, "Mia."
Mia looked at her brother. "Aiden..."
"Do you have any idea how worried Alice and Jaxson were when they couldn't find you?" Aiden asked.
Mia blinked. "I left a note in the studio."
"What?" Alice was confused.
She didn't see any note.
She must have overlooked that key clue!
"You will never go to him in the future," Aiden ordered.
"No!" Mia retorted quickly, "He is my friend. You can't stop me from seeing him!"
"He's not your friend!" Aiden said with a stern face, "Mommy will be very upset if she knows you met him. Mia, do you want to upset our mommy?"
Mia was stunned.
She didn't know why her mommy would be upset to know that.
"Liar!" Mia felt so wronged that she was about to cry.
