"You have a fever." Athena withdrew her hand, looked at Byron, and then froze.
What was she doing?
"Sorry. When I'm with my family, I'm used to it..." Athena took a step back.
Technically, Athena was used to this when she was with Aiden and Mia.
She used to rub the children's foreheads to see if they had a fever.
Byron looked at her, and he was a little touched.
"It's okay." He shook his head, looking weak. "I wondered why I was feeling dazed. It turns out I have a fever..."
Athena was confused about Byron's attitude toward her.
Did he accept that she was not Athena?
"Ms. Stella." Byron looked at her, still looking weak. "I have a presumptuous request."
"Mr. Crawford, please tell me."
"I probably can't drive in my condition. Could you give me a ride?" His tone and eyes were sincere.
He was so sincere Athena couldn't find a reason to say no.
"Sorry, I have something else to do. Shall I call a driver for you?" Athena suggested.
Byron sighed softly and shook his head weakly. "Forget it. I don't want to meet strangers now, so I'll drive back slowly. Thank you, Ms. Stella."
Saying that, Byron nodded slightly and walked in the direction of the car.
"You can't drive like this."
Athena grabbed his hand subconsciously.
But for a moment, she frowned and let go.
"It's okay. I'll slowly..."
Athena frowned tightly.
"Forget it. Just do it for Alivia."
"I'll send you home!" Athena's tone was somewhat impatient.
Byron stood where he was and said softly, "Thank you."
Soon, Athena drove on the road.
