"But they can't stop you from being with me again," Byron said after a while. "I've changed."
Athena glanced at him.
She could see Byron's changes.
She could feel his anxiety, restlessness, fear, and madness.
After the dispute at the church that day, Athena was suddenly discouraged.
She really didn't want to get innocent people involved between her and Byron.
She originally thought that after such a long time, Byron had been reconciled with his true love and that his vague love for her was probably washed away by the torrent of time.
To be honest, Athena was completely surprised at Byron's performance after the reunion.
She found that Byron wasn't reconciled with his true love and was heartbroken all the time because of her death.
When she found it, Athena knew that she and Byron would continue to entangle.
This was not her intention.
She just hoped that the people she loved wouldn't be hurt again because of her entanglement with Byron.
The car was parked on the side of the road.
Athena glanced at the signboard of the sandwich shop and was a little surprised. "Mrs. Carol Wilson still runs this shop!"
Byron did not take credit.
He nodded. "The neighbors all like to eat in the shop. The taste has not changed, and it is still the same as before."
Athena looked at him. "Have you eaten in the shop too?"
Byron had always disliked sandwiches.
And he also didn't want her to eat them.
"Of course!" Byron replied firmly.
"Mr. Crawford, there you are," at this time, Carol saw Byron and immediately greeted him lovingly.
"Mrs. Wilson," Byron greeted and then introduced Athena beside him. "This is my wife."
