Aron was going to carry Evie to the bedroom.
But suddenly, he noticed her wrist slipping off the sofa.
She wore a trench coat with long sleeves that kept her wrists covered.
That was why Aron saw that her slender wrist was more bruised now.
Aron's sanity was utterly broken.
At this time, Evie woke up gradually. She sat up and rubbed her eyes. "I fell asleep?"
"It's late, of course, you would be sleepy." Aron held her hand where her wrist got injured. "I'll take the things to your room."
"Okay." Evie was indeed sleepy.
She followed Aron to her bedroom.
After putting down her things, Aron went out gentlemanly.
Evie was so sleepy that she had no energy to think about anything else. She took a shower, removed her make-up, changed into her pajamas, and fell on the bed.
Meanwhile, Aron held his phone and went to the back garden as if he feared Evie would overhear his call.
He dialed a string of numbers.
"Mr. Timberlake!" The other side of the phone was boisterous, but the person spoke very respectfully.
"Help me with something." Aron's tone was cold. "Make sure that person doesn't get maimed or lose a limb. He can be hurt internally but not killed, and don't hit him in the face."
In case someone came to get Evie's sympathy with an injured face,
"Understood. Then we'll hurt him internally, this is our specialty!"
"Thanks for your hard work."
Aron was polite, but not very much.
After speaking indifferently, he hung up the phone directly and transferred 220,000 dollars to the other party.
After hanging up the phone, Aron didn't go back into the house either but went to the other side and looked up at the brightly lit room.
He found a recliner and sat down, watching quietly for a long time.
