Byron reluctantly let go of Athena and sent her downstairs regardless of her objection.
Rose was not kidding.
In addition to her own car, two other cars were behind, with down windows and full of muscular men.
Athena was dumbfounding.
"Grandma." Byron greeted Rose politely.
After he woke up, Rose hadn't been there. So this was their real reunion after a long absence.
"I'm not your grandma. I think you should call me Madam Stella. I'm not that familiar with you." After Rose finished speaking coldly, she looked at Athena and became loving. "Athena, get in the car. I bought sugar-fried chestnuts. And I take a bite; it is sweet and soft. You'll like it."
"Okay!"
Before Athena got into the car, she lightly patted Byron's butt from an angle Rose couldn't see.
Then she whispered to him in a low voice, "Congratulations, Mr. Crawford. You've hit obstacle number one after reconciliation."
After speaking, Athena got into the car.
As the driver closed the car door, Byron wanted to take one more look at Athena, but Rose closed the window.
Byron put on his coat and watched the three cars drive away.
After standing there for a while, at the urging of the nurse, he went upstairs lonely.
Inside the car.
"Byron has been really different. Evie didn't lie to me." Rose peeled the chestnuts.
There were not many delicious chestnuts this season.
These Rose bought were of the extraordinarily delicious kind.
Rose went across half of Girard City to buy them after searching the Internet.
Athena was about to ask what was different about Byron.
Then she heard Rose say disgustingly, "Look at his pitiful appearance. He didn't think he could touch an experienced person like me by that, did he? Impossible! Only a person of lust like you who forgets how much it hurts when it's healed will be mesmerized!"
"I'm not mesmerized." Athena peeled a chestnut and threw it into her mouth. "I just feel like he changed his once-annoying personality for me and that if I didn't want him, he would definitely end up with someone else. I've planted the tree with so many years of blood and tears; why should I give it to others after it bears fruit?"
