"Aren't you renovating the house in Sycamore Street? How is the progress?" Athena asked while eating.
Aron put down his cutlery.
"Generally speaking, the renovation is almost complete. Evie and I can move into the house after we pick the right furniture."
Athena nodded.
But Evie seemed to feel embarrassed and uneasy.
"I'll probably be back here tomorrow night."
Then the adults all looked at Evie.
Evie was confused.
"Why? You're married. Don't you live together? In the same neighborhood, do you have to live apart? Is that right?" Rose said, "You are not young anymore. Now that the domestic company is still in the early stage, and you're not so busy, hurry up and consider bearing a child."
Evie suddenly choked on the saliva.
"Easy..."
Aron hurriedly patted her on the back.
"I'm... Ahem, ahem... I'm fine... Madam... Ahem, ahem..."
"You can talk after coughing." Rose drank the soup calmly. Well, Aron's cooking was indeed excellent. And the soup was delicious.
Athena sat with two cute and pretty kids on both sides.
When eating delicious meals, she felt perfect and enjoyed watching the show.
Evie calmed down.
Not sure if it was because of embarrassment or coughing, but her face was flushed.
"Grandma, Aron is still young. We can talk about it in a few years. Don't rush me." Evie muttered.
Rose glanced at Aron. "He's still young, but you're not young anymore. How dangerous it will be if you become an older parturient."
"Grandma, I understand. I will arrange it properly." Before Evie could speak, Aron made a solemn promise.
"Good." Rose responded, "I remember a festival is coming soon. I have prepared some gifts for your parents, remember to take them away when you go back later."
Evie looked at Rose in surprise.
But Rose only gave her a confident look, signaling her to rest assured.
Evie's eyes turned red instantly.
Her grandma was very old, still in the hospital, and could not be discharged.
So she had no elders to help her manage these things.
And she had to search last night for a decent gift for her parents-in-law during the festival.
