Byron actually gave her two million dollars. 

What was he buying this time? 

She didn’t want to think about it carefully, for fear of disgusting herself.

“Are you feeling well?” Gabe handed Athena a bowl of soup. 

Athena put away her phone and nodded. “I slept well. Now I feel that I’m full of energy again!” 

“But your face is still a little pale.” Gabe was concerned. “You have to take the medicines and supplements prescribed by

“Miss Holland, if you want me to take Heather down, you should’ve come up with a better plan.” Athena’s tone was filled with sarcasm. “If you are unwilling to watch Byron get married, you can go to make a fuss yourself. Don’t ruin my 

vacation!”

Athena hung up the phone directly. 

Gabe overheard their conversation and frowned. “I know this voice. She’s the bad woman who stopped me at the pier last time and spoke ill of you!” 

“Yeah, that’s her.” Athena nodded. “Gabe, it’s time for you to go home.” 

“What about you? Aren’t you going back to Girard City?” Gabe asked. 

“No.” Athena shook her head. “I’ve already handed my work to someone else. I’m going to find a friend.” 

“I’ll accompany you!” Gabe said hastily. 

“No need.” Athena refused. “Go home. Your parents have been looking for you. Don’t let them worry.” 

The Chambers family had been looking for Gabe all day.
