Evie knew it was easy for Aron to get Lisa's contact information as long as he wanted.
He did not need any help from her.
So she dared to tease him without restraint.
Aron glanced at her as soon as her words fell, then swiftly turned the steering wheel to the left and slowly pulled over.
"You stopped??" she muttered, then reluctantly reached out her hand towards Aron. "Give me your phone then."
She thought, "What's the big deal about adding a contact, anyway?"
Before Evie's outstretched hand could reach Aron's phone, Aron grabbed her hand and pulled her towards him, leaning in closer.
In Evie's astonished gaze, his large hand went around her and cupped the back of her head. He kissed her.
Maybe it was because Evie was a little drunk that night, so they kissed too much as they looked at the stars on the mountain.
Or perhaps it was Aron's genius nature, quick to learn anything and apply it cleverly.
After a few days of brief separation, his kissing technique had reached another level. It was gentle and tender, leaving her bewildered and captivated.
After a while, Aron ended the kiss.
Although they stopped kissing, the distance between them remained close. Aron lowered his gaze and looked at Evie.
She seemed a bit dazed. With misty eyes, she was like a cute little deer in the forest on a foggy morning.
"Mrs. Timberlake, do you want to give my contact information to other girls?" Aron asked.
Evie honestly shook her head. "I was just joking..."
"Hmm." Aron gently touched her head as his gaze lingered on Evie's face. "That's about right."
