Athena nodded. "The hospital will collect the bone marrow after the boy's parents arrive and sign the agreement."
"The boy?" Evie was surprised.
"Yeah. He's seventeen years old," Athena replied, "And he'll be an adult soon."
"Great!"
Evie said excitedly.
"Would you like to go to an open-air barbecue to celebrate it in the evening?"
"No," Byron said indifferently while he was busy.
Evie looked at Byron, dissatisfied.
She thought Byron didn't have the final say.
"He has arrangements tonight. Let's do it another day," Athena said with a smile.
"Fine..." Evie grumbled.
And then she went to play with Aiden and Mia.
Athena watched Evie leave. When she turned her head, she met Aron's gaze.
And then they went outside tacitly.
"Did she tell you anything?"
Athena and Aron asked in unison.
Athena spoke first.
"Nothing. But my grandma told me that Brian has been cashing out recently."
"He probably wants to run away," Aron said coldly, "I will not be surprised if he passes the buck on Evie after he runs away."
After having a successful experience asking Evie for money, Brian would continue to let those creditors go to Evie for money after his debts exploded.
"What's your plan?"
Although Aron's tone was cold, he looked calm.
He looked very confident.
"Actually, the Hansen family's company has not reached the point where it can't sustain. Guess why Brian suddenly started cashing out," Aron said lightly.
