Adina was so embarrassed that she blushed.
“B*stard!” she cursed in a low voice.
“I can be more like a b*stard.”
Duke held her waist and spoke teasingly.
He enjoyed seeing the woman appear vulnerable against him.
Adina felt helpless.
This man seemed so righteous and serious. But why would he turn into a b*stard whenever they were in private?
“Don’t do that in a place like this again!”
Adina glared at him.
“Okay, I’ll kiss you when we get home.” Duke moved closer to her ear and softly said, “The marriage certificate is in your hand. You’re officially my wife now. We can take our time.”
His words made Adina’s face turn crimson.
She could reject him with all kinds of excuses in the past, but they were a legally married couple now. If he insisted on it, she could not reject him anymore.
When Adina thought about it, she was taken aback for a while.
She remembered hating intimacy between men and women after that incident five years ago.
Whenever a man approached her intentionally, she would feel nauseous. If an encounter brought up memories of what happened five years ago, she would even feel disgusted and fearful.
But she was completely fine now.
That night was no longer a nightmare because she fell for the man who had slept with her five years ago, right?
“Mr. Winters, the reporters are here. They’re waiting for you.”
Jake pushed the door and entered. When he saw the inappropriate scene, he was so shocked that he immediately moved backward.
