The old man was taken aback. He looked at him and said, "You already have a daughter? Well, why didn't the two of you said something?"
Rowane said awkwardly, "Master Attwood, that child isn't..."
"Everyone, let's eat. You've been working tirelessly all day. Let's eat and go home and rest!" Evan said, obviously stopping Rowane from saying something unnecessary.
Rowane's expression didn't improve. She stared blankly at Hendrix for a moment. The old man wanted to ask for more details, but Hendrix immediately changed the topic.
Just like that, everyone was calm during dinner. Once dinner was done, everyone left on their own.
When Naomi arrived, we were in front of the hotel, just about to Ziglar off.
She ran all the way and shouted from afar, "Grandpa!"
When Ziglar heard the sound, he looked up and saw his granddaughter. He happily touched his beard and said, "Why did you come here, little girl?"
Naomi held Ziglar's arm and said, "I'm here to visit some friends. Are you here to visit an old friend?"
The old man smiled as he looked at Hendrix and said, "There is no old friend here, this is Master Roberts grandson, Hendrix Roberts. Get to know each other. This lady beside him is Rowane, his wife. In the future, you can address them as brother Hendrix and sister-in-law."
Naomi was stunned and looked back at me. The corner of her mouth twitched. "Sister-in-law?"
I hid my smile and kept quiet.
She frowned as she looked at Hendrix and said in a strange tone, "Well, brother Hendrix is it? But why does it seem like my sister- in- law is different?"
"Girl, what nonsense you speak. Don't be impolite!" Ziglar raised his hand and gave Naomi a light slap on her arm.
Naomi was slightly baffled, but she wisely did not press it. After a short chat with the old man, a driver was then arranged to send the old man home.
