Naomi stared at Rainie eagerly, clearly, she refused to leave until Rainie answer her!
Rainie had no choice but to reply, "It's all the issues we married women face. You haven't reached this stage yet, so you won't understand anything."
She clicked her tongue, obviously in a bad mood, and said, "What do you mean I won't understand? Even though I'm not married, I can sympathize with your situation. By the way, I heard that you were going to get a divorce. What's the matter?"
I don't know much about Rainie's matters. If Naomi didn't say that just now, I wouldn't have known. I couldn't help but look at her.
Rainie sighed and said, "We've been quarreling for a few months even though we've been married for six years. I'm responsible for all the expenses such as food and clothing for our child. The child is my blood and flesh. Even if I take care of our child by myself, it's my own responsibility and I should do it. But now our marriage is dying. I almost died in Myanway. I couldn't contact him after a long time. He didn't made a phone call nor a single message. You see, what's the point of spending my life with this kind of man? After I came back from Myanway, he brought my child to my mother-in-law. He said he was going out to start a business and took all the money of my family. Now he is missing. There is no hope for us anymore. I just want to divorce!"
Naomi nodded and sighed, "This kind of marriage is indeed meaningless. It's better not to get married!"
After that, she looked at me and said, "Arianna, your situation is different from her. Hendrix is a good man. He doesn't lack money and is willing to give his love to you. Even if there's a huge gap between the relationship of the two of you, why can't the both of you just sit down and speak plainly to clear up all the misunderstandings? Then, both of you can live in peace and harmony. Isn't this much better?
Our conversation kept circling back to the topic of me and Hendrix, so I stood up, took the washed vegetables from her hands, and said, "Let's go roast some vegetables!"
She followed behind me, mumbling to herself, "Arianna, are you kidding me? You're running away from your problems again."
I didn't care. I walked to the grill to see the other campers chatting around the grill.
Seeing Naomi huffing, Tina handed me something to eat from the grill. She asked, "What's wrong? Why are you huffing?"
